סְרַךְII (preced.; cmp. סָרַח I) 1) to clutch, hold fast, hang to. B. Bath.86b שאני בהמה דסַרְכָא (Ms. R. דמְסָרְכָא Pa., v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note 2) it is different with taking possession of an animal, because it clutches (the ground).
