Eine Milliarde heißt jetzt auch in Großbritannien one billion. Im Englischen werden Tausender mit einem Komma gegliedert - im Deutschen mit einem Punkt. Dagegen werden Dezimalzahlen mit einem Punkt gegliedert, z.B. 2.4 (gesprochen two point four) metres. Bei Währungsangaben folgt die Zahl direkt nach dem Währungszeichen, also ohne Freizeichen, z.B. $32.50 (gesprochen thirty-two dollars fifty). -
