Нефинитный (неличный) оборот - это синтаксический оборот, в качестве сказуемого которого выступает неличная форма глагола (см. Finite and non-finite verbs). Нефинитный оборот обычно является зависимой частью сложноподчиненного предложения (Complex sentence). К нефинитным оборотам относятся:He went to London to see his parents. — Он поехал в Лондон навестить родителей.

Личные и неличные формы глагола↑ Verb1) Личные формы глагола ( finite verbs).Личные (или финитные) формы глагола - это такие формы, которые выражают лицо, число, наклонение, залог.I am singing his favorite song. — Я пою его любимую песенку.
He has been told to get out of there. — Ему велели уйти оттуда.

2) Неличные формы глагола ( non-finite verbs).Неличные (нефинитные) формы глагола не выражают лица, числа, наклонения, залога. К неличным формам глагола относятся:I came here to speak to you. — Я пришел, чтобы поговорить с тобой.
All his money having been spent, he finally returned home. — Когда у него кончились все деньги, он наконец вернулся домой.
