Agüeyóme, miróme. En los tiempos d'endenantes (de antaño) había personas que tenían la propiedad de «Agüeyar», o faer el mal del güeyu, (hacer el mal del ojo), estos seres eran temidos, respetados y solapadamente odiados en las aldeas, porque su embruxu (embrujo) maléfico no sólo alcanzaba a las personas y en particular a los nenus d'entamu (niños de teta), sino que también tenían la propiedad de poder «Agüeyar» hasta los animales, sin embargo, contra estos endemoniados «Agüeyamientus» o males del «Güeyu» (mal del ojo), existían otros seres queridos y respetados que se llamaban lus Freirus (los Divinos, los Santos), que tenían la propiedad de deshacer los encantamientos o cualquier mal del ojo propiciado en personas o animales. Estos Freirus no eran ricos, o aparentemente no lo demostraban, pues yo he conocido a un par de ellos y la verdad que no se diferenciaban nada de los fatáus de probetayus (muchos pobres), que por aquel entonces por todas las aldeas pedigüeñaban. (Mendigaban). Quiero comprender ahora al analizar desde muy lejos a aquellos magos del desembrujo y de los males del ojo, que eran unos pobres muy singulares llenos de sapiencias de ancestros naturales, y conocedores de las bondades curativas de infinidad de plantas medicinales de las cuales se servían, creo que mucho más que de sus palabras, gesticulaciones y demás haceres misteriosos e indescifrables. Porque detrás de todo tratamiento de desembrujo, ellos solían dejar un maxuxe (compuesto), industriado con una mezcolanza de plantas y grasas de animales, con el cual ordenaban que se tratase al afectado por el moláu del güétchu (mal del ojo), hasta que desapareciese el endemoniado mal que l'enduetbechase, (que lo enmadejáse). Yo recuerdo que en la aldea de mi amo Salustiano, vivía una mujer a la que llamaban la Bruxa (Bruja), y solían decir de ella algunas personas muy superticiosas, que era capaz d'embruxar ou faer el moláu del güetchu, (de embrujar o de hacer el mal del ojo), a toda persona o animal, menos a los guetus prietus (gatos negros). No me olvido que en un principio de llegar yo a la aldea como criaín (criado de Salustiano) poseía yo mucho respeto y no menos miéu (miedo) hacia la Bruxa (bruja), pues temía de que llantara d'enría mín, (plantara encima de mí) alguno de sus endemoniados «agüeyamientus », (moláus de güctchu), por lo tanto yo procuraba no cruzarme con ella jamás, siempre fútchia d'echa m'arganéu de miéu (huía de ella muy lleno de miedo). Cuando Salustiano descubrió en mi esta manifestación de verdadero temor que yo sentía hacia la Bruxa, empezó a convencerme de que todo cuanto se decía de ella, eran verdaderos cuintus de caleya (cuentos callejeros). Apelucar es cortar, arrancar con las manos. «Apelucar l´ espiga » (arrancar la espiga de la paja). Apelucar lus arbeyus, lus fréxules, les zreizas, les fabes, etc., etc... (Recoger los guisantes, los fríjoles, las cerezas, las judías, etc., etc...). En este retazo de la poesía «L'Atapecer de L'Aldina», de Xulín de Lluza, se puede apreciar lo que significa la palabra apelucar, que con más asiduidad se nombra cuando se trata de la espiga. —Ya nun se macha l'espiga, / qu'apelucá nus panzales / s'embalaga n'antexana / d'enría de fortes mantes, / p'esfaela nes erguines / ximientes d'oitres panzales. —Ya nun se ven les muyeres / conel banu ente les manes, / banucandu 'xoforáes, / xebrandu la bona escanda / de les poxes esbítchaes. —Ya nun canten lus carrinus, / nun ruxen sous cantaories, / per el pesu d'esquirpiáes / d'espigues apelucáes / e nus roxinus panzales. La recolecta o «coyedura» del pan, era una faena que por regla general se solía efectuar en andechas, con gentes a «Xornal» (jornal) y algunas «agavita» (ayuda sin sueldo). Este trabajo cansado y sucio, ya que uno se pone negro del polvo que se desprende de las pajas, por estar muchas ya medio podridas, se empieza temprano solamente cuando no hubo «orbayaína» (escarcha de ninguna clase), y esto suele ser muy pocas veces, porque en las maravillosas noches de mis embrujantes aldeinas, siempre existe un frescor sano y natural del que se desprende un rocío que con sus diminutas gotas todo lo pone «pingandu» (mojado). Eso en las noches más claras y abiertas. Por eso, para coyer el pan (recoger la espiga), tienen que estar los panzales muy secos y crespus (crujientes), para que arranquen bien de la paja las «arestouxas» espigas. Por tal razón siempre se espera que el padre sol los caliente y los enxugue (seque). Este trabajo está controlado por sí mismo, ya que se sabe fijamente lo que puede coyer nel díe 'n coyedor (el trabajo que puede hacer una persona). Comuñas, esta palabra se estilaba mucho por mis aldeas cuando yo era pequeño, al final de la guerra civil, la mayor parte de las gentes tenían sus ganados a la "comuña'' o a medias. Y aunque parezca que la cosa es lo mismo, la diferencia que existe es enorme, pues a pesar de que de entrambas formas siempre es trabajar para un dueño, cuidando los ganados a medias siempre es más decente y honrado, porque a medias se goza de la mitad de las crías que da el ganado, más la leche y el trabajo. Y en caso que a una o más reses las maten los lobos, el oso, etc., la perdía tan solamente el dueño. Oxa, monte volcánico donde se crían principalmente las uces que tienen unas cepas grandes de donde se saca el carbón vegetal más cotizado. Yo he ido muchas veces a la oxa acompañado de mi madre para hacer este carbón vegetal de las cepas de las uces, que era por aquel entonces de mi vivir desgraciado y a la vez feliz y venturoso, el mejor combustible para los gasógenos de los coches y también para las fraguas de los herreros. Si yo supiera que alguien en mi querida Tierrina escribiera o dijese cosas de ella con naturalidad y sencillez, siempre ajustándose a la realidad pura de nuestras "ancestrales Costumbres", correría como un loco a su lado para aprender de él cuanto yo no se relacionado con los aconteceres naturales de la Cultural Ancestral Astur que yo trato, pues yo no entiendo de monumentos, ni de músicas, yo tan solo se cuanto ustedes están propiando y viendo. Pero señores, a mí no me puede enseñar un analfabeto a leer, y en esta tan delicada materia los banduerrus del Conceyu Bable, así como los Amigos del Bable, y no dejando atrás a tanto payaso nacido con títulos de trelda de bracu, que hoy en el día, son unos verdaderos atracadores del honrado trabajo que ha hecho este humilde servidor, que tuvo la triste desgracia de no tener ni títulos, ni dineros, porque si alguna de estas dos cosas tuviera, se me hubiera escuchado, protegido, ayudado, etc., como están haciendo con todas las gentuzas nombradas que siempre bajo mi manera de ver las cosas, simplemente son unos embaucadores, plagistas y embusteros, que apoyados por los medios de comunicación de mi Tierrina pretenden engañar falseando la Cultura de un Pueblo, que los entendidos, los desprecian de la misma manera que yo hago. Abeyas, abéas ou abiétchas, son abejas. Y son las abejas sin lugar a dudas, los únicos seres de toda la Creación, que sólo se alimentan con el néctar de las flores, fecundándolas a la vez con más profundidad y eficiencia que pueda hacer ningún otro insecto. Me recuerdo con allegre (alegre) nostalgia, que en mi aldea había muchos truebanales (colmenas) y en la última semana del mes de setiembre o la primera de octubre, era cuando se mataban los truébanus (colmenas) que más miel tuviesen en sous caxiétchus (sus panales), y esto se sabía sopesándolos, aquéllos que más pesasen se les condenaba a morrer (morir). La matanza de las abéas se hacía siempre denuétche (de noche). Se hacía una cuandia (poza) en la tierra de la lloxa (huerto) dou échas entrebanaben (donde ellas se acolmenaban) y dembaxu (debajo) del truébanu que tou 'l taba 'l entestate, (de la colmena que toda ella estaba abierta) se metía una mecha de azufre y con el fumu (humo) que de este químico se desprendía, las abejas amoriaben, (se entontecían) cayendo todas dientru 'l fuexu 'morrentáes (dentro el pozo medio muertas), no quedando dentro del truébanu namái qu’angunus zánganus que fasta pa morrer yeren folgazanes. (Dentro de la colmena nada más que algunos zánganos que hasta para morir eran holgazanes). Una vez muertas las abejas se enterraban dentro de la cuandia dou morrieran (de la poza donde habían muerto) y después se procedía a sacar los caxiétchus del truébanu que se xacupaben dientru una maxeruca fecha pa tal cheldar (los panales de la colmena que se vertían dentro de una artesa hecha para tal acontecer), y con la cueta de lus gruéxus (con el canto de las hachas) se mayaban fasta que tou échu se fexera trelda. Digo que en aquella miel se encontraba el concentrado olor y gusto de los milenarios castaños, y de todos los árboles alumbrantes de flores que poblaban las abruptas montañas y el pequeño y apacible valle de mi aldea.
