= GLSслужба (услуга) глобального отслеживания местоположения, служба GLS1) аппаратно-программные средства для определения физического положения контролируемых объектов (located-object) - любых физически перемещаемых (подвижных) объектов, местонахождение которых может отслеживаться либо внешними, либо их собственными средствами. Такими объектами могут быть люди, компьютеры, телефоны, автомобили и т. д. Служба GLS выполняет две базовые функции: составляет список всех контролируемых объектов в данной зоне и список всех известных зон для данного контролируемого объекта.
