Nota d'usoI sostantivi journey, travel e trip possono essere tutti tradotti con “viaggio”, ma vengono usati in contesti diversi. Travel non viene mai preceduto da un articolo e si usa solo per indicare i viaggi in generale: I like travel books, mi piacciono i libri di viaggio; travel arrangements, preparativi di viaggio. Quando si vuole parlare di un viaggio in particolare si utilizzano invece trip e journey. Journey viene di solito usato per viaggi piuttosto lunghi: How was your journey?, com'è andato il viaggio?; It was a long and difficult journey through the mountains, è stato un viaggio lungo e difficile attraverso le montagne.
