. освобождение от таможенных платежей, за исключением платежей за хранение, производство таможенного оформления вне определенных для этого мест или вне времени работы Таможенных Органов Российской Федерации и подобные им услуги, предоставляемые: 1) дипломатическим и консульским представительствам иностранных государств, осуществляющих ввоз в РФ и вывоз из РФ товаров, предназначенных для официального использования; 2) главам и дипломатическому персоналу указанных выше представительств, проживающим вместе с ними членами их семей, иностранным дипломатическим и консульским курьерам, представителям иностранных государств, членам парламентских и правительственных делегаций и некоторым др. категориям иностранных лиц, ввозящим в РФ и вывозящим из страны товары, предназначенные для их личного пользования (личный багаж этих лиц освобождается от таможенного досмотра, за исключением случаев, предусмотренных Таможенным Кодексом РФ); 3) сотрудникам административно-технического персонала дипломатических и консульских представительств и проживающим вместе с ними членами их семей, если эти сотрудники и члены их семей не проживают в РФ постоянно, ввозящим в РФ товары, предназначенные для первоначального обзаведения (на основе специального соглашения с иностранным государством на них могут распространяться Т.л., предоставляемые членам дипломатического персонала и подобным категория лиц). . Данный термин имеет два значения:
а) таможенные преференции или льготы - преимущества, предоставляемые физическим или юридическим лицам при импорте, экспорте или транзите товаров, ценностей, личных вещей, других предметов. Таможенные льготы представляют собой исключения из общепринятых таможенных процедур. Таможенные льготы предоставляются в виде: либо освобождения от уплаты таможенной пошлины или налогов, либо иных сборов, либо упрощенной процедуры пропуска через таможенную границу товаров и личных вещей, либо полного неприменения таких процедур;
б) таможенные здания, оборудование или, еще более узкое значение помещения, рентгеновые лаборатории и т.д.
