Это потому, что и в Америке оказываются без денег часто. Но популярное выражение "all hell broke loose" (см. all hell (ALL)) с банкротством не связано, оно означает резкое внезапное ухудшение всех дел. Дословно - ад разверзся. -

Продукция, передача которой потребителю не допускается из-за наличия дефектов.
Пояснения
Понятие "брак" совпадает с понятием "забракованная продукция", если продукция состоит из одной единицы, оказавшейся дефектной, или из нескольких единиц, в каждой из которых имеется хотя бы один дефект.
Если продукция, состоящая из нескольких единиц (например, партия изделий), забракована по результатам выборочного контроля, то в ней, кроме дефектных единиц (дефектных изделий), могут содержаться также и годные единицы (годные изделия). В этом случае брак может выделяться из забракованной продукции при ее разбраковке методом сплошного контроля. Продукция, состоящая из годных единиц, может быть забракована в связи с получением при испытаниях неудовлетворительного значения показателя однородности.
В приведенных случаях понятия "брак" и "забракованная продукция" не совпадают.
Понятие "брак" относится, как правило, к условиям создания продукции. Однако, если брак обнаруживается при эксплуатации или потреблении продукции, то ответственность за выпуск брака и поставку его потребителю несет изготовитель (поставщик) продукции.
