ABS-Finanzierung f BANK, FIN asset-backed financing (Synonym: Asset-backed-Finanzierung; Finanzierung durch Übertragung mittel- oder längerfristiger Forderungen, z. B. aus Leasing- oder Hypothekenkreditverträgen, auf zu diesem Zweck gegründete Finanzierungs-, Zweck-, Einzweck- oder Objektgesellschaften = special purpose vehicles = SPVs, SIVs = structured investment vehicles oder Conduits, die sich bei steigendem Fristentransformationsrisiko = maturity transformation risk durch Ausgabe kurzfristig revolvierender Forderungspapiere, z. B. ABCP, refinanzieren; die auf kurze Sicht am Markt platzierten Schuldtitel sind damit nicht mehr durch die Bank, sondern nur noch durch den erworbenen Forderungsbestand gedeckt, dessen Qualität mittelfristig variieren kann; durch Verbriefung = securitization eine für Banken attraktive Mobilisierungsmöglichkeit ursprünglich nichtfungibler, d. h.
