Schwyzer 499, Fraenkel Nom. ag. 2, 57f.). - ἀλετρίς `woman who grinds corn' (Hom.). - On ἀλετρίβανος m. `pestle' (Ar.) cf. Schwyzer 263, 438. - Lengthened vb. stem ἀλήθω (Hp.; Schwyzer 682).
