I. schaden, Ζεῠ, ἦ ῥά τιν' ἤδη τῇδ' ἄτῃ ἄασας Il. 8, 237; ἄασάν [– – –] μ' ἕταροί τε κακοί, πρὸς τοῖσί τε ὕπνος Od. 10, 68; besonders geistig: bethören, verblenden, οἶνος καὶ Κένταυρον-ἄασε Od. 21, 296 [– ñ ñ] u. 287 ἐπεὶ φρένας ἄασεν οἴνῳ; so ἆσέ με δαίμονος αἶσα κακὴ καὶ-οἶνος Od. 11, 61. – Med. praes. in ders. activen Bedeutung ἄτη, ἣ πάντας ἀᾶται Il. 19, 91. 129. – Aor. I. med. ich bethörte mich, verging mich (VLL. ἐβλάβην, ἄτῃ περιέπεσον), ἀασάμην [– ñ ñ], Il.
