अगाध a. [गाध्-प्रतिष्ठायां घञ्; न. ब.] Unfathomable, very deep, bottomless; अगाधसलिलात्समुद्रात् H.1.52; (fig.) profound, sound, very deep यस्य ज्ञानदयासिन्धोरगाधस्यानघा गुणाः Ak. unfathomable, incomprehensible, inscrutable, Not learned; अगाधाश्चाप्रतिष्ठाश्च गतिमन्तश्च नारद Mb.12. 286.7.
