II, 58a bot. איתב׳ מן קומוי (the moon) disappeared from his sight. 2) to be given to eat; trnsf. to be taught. Ber.24b הא מילתא אִבְלְעָא לי ביוכ׳ v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note) this I have been taught in the school of R. ; (Men.17a הא מילתא אבלע ליוכ׳ this has R. Ḥ. taught me).
