    אוּדְנָאII f. (from its shape, v. foreg. a. P. Sm. 40) 1) leather-bottle, jar (a liquid measure). Pl. אוּדְנִין. Y.Maas. Sh. IV, 55b bot. (to one who had dreamt he had four udnin = ears, v. foreg.) מלוי את תרתי אֻדְנָיךְ ותרתי אוּדְנוֹי דגרבא thou shalt have wine enough to fill thy own two udnin (wine jars), and two udnin (measures) of a garba (v. גַּרְבָּא I) besides. 2) (Syr. אוזנא, וזנא P. Sm. 49, 106 1) bath-tub. Ber.22a was sitting בא׳ דמיא Ar. (ed. באגנא, Ms. Beth. Nath. באוזנא) in a tub filled with an udna of water. Sabb.157b א׳ דמיא … Ar.     אוּדְנָאIII, אֲדִינָא (f.?) (= h. אֶדֶן; cmp. b. h. הֲדֹם; √דא, דנא; cmp. דּוּךְ) foot-stool, camp-chair, folding stool. Targ. Jer. 43:10 אוּדְנֵיה Ar. (ed. אפדניה).Pl. אוּדְנַיָּא, אֲדִינַיָּא. Targ. II Est. 1:2 תרתין אוּדְנֹוי ( תרין?) the double footstool of king Solomon. Tosef.Kel.B. Mets. VIII, 6 מָטָה וישןוכ׳ (not מיטה) when it bends in (under the weight) but one can sleep on it; if it was originally so made, טמאה (not טהזרה) it is unclean מפני שהיא כאו׳ ed. Zuck.
