(1903-1992) Уэлк, ЛоренсДирижер, известный популяризатор т.н. "музыки под шампанское" ["champagne music"]. Начинал музыкальную карьеру, играя на аккордеоне на сельских вечеринках; в 17 лет создал свой первый ансамбль танцевальной музыки, с которым много и успешно выступал по радио.
