אוּץ(b. h.; √או, v. אוי I; cmp. אָפַץ; v. הוּץ a. חָצָה) to be pressed (to press, hurry).Part. אוֹצֶה, pl. אוֹצִין (as from אצה, v. חוּץ, חוּל) squeezed in. Tosef.Kel.B. Mets. IX, 5 א׳ חבור (Var. הוצין) when they are squeezed in (tight), they are considered as connected for levitical purposes.
