Till. to Ps. 90:16 וזִהֲּרוֹ and brightened his countenance. Nif. הִזָּהֵר (= b. h. הִשָׁמֵר) to be careful, be strict; to beware, take heed. Ber.8b הִזָּהֲרוּ בורידין be careful to cut the jugular veins, v. וָרִיד.
