↑ QuestionРасчлененный вопрос несколько отличается по форме от других вопросов. Он состоит из утвердительного или отрицательного предложения с присоединенным к нему общим вопросом. Приблизительно соответствует по смыслу русским выражениям "не так ли?"; "не правда ли?"; "правда?". Присоединяемая вопросительная часть состоит из вспомогательного глагола и местоимения, относящегося к подлежащему невопросительной части. Вспомогательный глагол и его форма выбираются в зависимости от формы глагола в невопросительной части по тем же правилам, что и при образовании общего вопроса (см. Yes-No question).Как вопросительная, так и невопросительная части могут быть в утвердительной или отрицательной форме. Отрицательная форма вопросительной части образуется так же, как отрицательный вопрос (см. Negative question). б) Нисходящая интонация может выражать беспокойство, несогласие, неодобрение.What's the matter, Christine? You're not going to faint, are you? — В чем дело, Кристина, уж не собираешься ли ты упасть в обморок?
в) Расчлененный вопрос, обе части которого стоят в утвердительной форме (см. 1в) обычно означает, что задающий вопрос просит подтверждения уже известного ему факта. Вопрос, заданный с восходящей интонацией, предполагает участие, сочувствие, вежливый интерес со стороны спрашивающего.So she's getting married, is she? — Так что, она выходит замуж?
