126 not ready for prime time
Perhaps it won’t work. Maybe the Iraqis are not ready for prime time yet. Free Online Dictionary of Computing:
•• Not ready for prime time: Usable, but only just so; not very robust; for internal use only. Said of a program or device. <...> This term comes from the ensemble name of the original cast of “ Saturday Night Live,” the “Not Ready for Prime Time Players.”
•• Web Services: Not Ready for Prime Time <...> had sound and X-server config problems – again, on the desktop, not ready for prime time.
•• Stevia: Not Ready For Prime Time. More Research Needed To Answer Safety Questions About “ Natural” Sweetener.
•• Candidate Not Ready for Prime Time. It has become clear that she is not ready to govern the state.
Linux in China: Not Ready for Prime Time
