Dagegen werden Dezimalzahlen mit einem Punkt gegliedert, z.B. 2.4 (gesprochen two point four) metres. Bei Währungsangaben folgt die Zahl direkt nach dem Währungszeichen, also ohne Freizeichen, z.B. $32.50 (gesprochen thirty-two dollars fifty).
