    אָמֵןI (√אם, v. אֵם; cmp. preced.) to be strong, enduring; (act. v. אָמַן to support, v. 2 Kings 18:16 אֹמְנֹות).Pi. אִימֵּן, אִמֵּן to support; trnsf. to confirm, verify, approve.
