От форта Ларами [ Fort Laramie] они прошли по Орегонской тропе [ Oregon Trail] до форта Бриджер [ Fort Bridger]. 24 июля 1847 через Каньон Переселенцев [Emigration Canyon] мормоны достигли долины Большого Соленого озера [ Great Salt Lake], где основали поселение, ставшее впоследствии г.
