rĕ-vīvisco ( rĕvīvesco; v. Orell. Cic. Fam. 6, 10, 5), vixi, 3, v. inch. n., to come to life again, to be restored to life, to revive (class.; a favorite word with Cic., esp. in the trop. signif.).
