ambient temperature
average temperature of air or another medium in the vicinity of the equipment
NOTE – During the measurement of the ambient temperature the measuring instrument/probe should be shielded from draughts and radiant heating.
[IEV number 826-10-03]
ambient temperature
temperature of the air or other medium where the equipment is to be used
[IEC 60204-1-2006]FR
[IEV number 826-10-03]Параллельные тексты EN-RU
The temperate of each module of a Molded Case Circuit Breaker is the sum of temperature increase by conduction and ambient temperature and if the ambient temperature exceeds 40°C the passing current needs to be reduced so that the temperature of such element as internal insulator of MCCB exceed the maximum allowable temperature.
