1892-1959Un hombre muy activo como director y productor de westerns hasta el ano 40, el principio de su carrera se situa en 1917, en Universal. Utilizo algun seudonimo, como el de Henri Samuels. Como tantos otros realizadores al mismo tiempo que el, Webb se limita a dirigir peliculas de una hora de duracion, con razonable buen pulso, protagonizadas por alguno, o al gunos, de los heroes del genero en la decada de los treinta, sin mas ambiciones que la de proporcionar entretenimiento barato a un publico lo mas amplio posible. Sus actores favoritos son, sin duda, Jay Wil sey, acreditado como Buffalo Bill, Jr., Jack Perrin, Tom Tyler y Bob Steele. Amancurriar, dícese cuando al ordeñar una vaca, ésta suelta patadas o coces, imposibilitando su afoxináu (ordeño), entonces se le anilla uno de los remos delanteros, doblándoselo por la rodilla e introduciéndolo dentro de una argolla, quedando la vaca sólo encima de tres patas, imposibilitándole el soltar coces so pena de caerse. Esto también se le llama «Patón».
