Verkaufen, die Handelschaft). – negotiatio (das Geschäftemachen = der Handel, insofern er auf große Unternehmungen [Entreprisen] ausgeht). – negotium od. Plur. negotia (das Geschäft, die Geschäfte, die einer betreibt, bes. der Geldausleiher u. Kornhändler, s. Geschäft). – commercium (Handel u. Wandel, der kaufmännische Verkehr, Handelsverkehr, mit etw., alcis rei). – H. im großen, mercatura magna et copiosa: H. im kleinen, mercatura tenuis: der H. zur See, mercatorum navigatio: H. treiben, s. handeln no. IV: einen guten, schlechten H. machen, bene, male emere.
