These are drills of lighter yams than " grey drills," from 24's to 36's warp and weft; all cotton. Made in many widths and qualities. -
8 Grey Drills
All drills came under this term at one time, but gradually the term has come to be applied to the 3-shaft warp face weave 2 up, 1 down, made from heavy yarns, such as 12's to 24's warp and weft. These cloths are used for boot linings, suitings, etc. -

These are coloured fibres which are found in fleeces of wool that should be white all through. When present they seriously affect the value of the -wool as it can only be used for dark shades. Whites, creams and many of the light shades of colours must have a 100 per cent white fibre. -
