1) методв ООП - операция, выполняемая объектом; именованная встроенная процедура или функция, ассоциированная с объектом, которая изменяет состояние объекта или заставляет его отправить сообщение, т. е. реализует поведение объекта (instance behavior) данного класса. Метод может иметь параметры. Существуют также методы класса (class method). Термин был впервые введён в языке SmallTalk.
