1 -stranger o foreigner?-
Nota d'usoBisogna fare attenzione a non confondere i sostantivi stranger e foreigner che significano, rispettivamente, “sconosciuto, estraneo” e “straniero” (cioè, in genere, di nazionalità diversa): I said hello to a stranger today, oggi ho salutato un estraneo; I know a lot of foreigners, conosco molti stranieri. -
