Миссия Всемирного антидопингового агентства состоит в совершенствовании, координации и международном контроле над осуществлением мер борьбы против всех форм допинга в спорте. В сотрудничестве с межправительственными, общественными и частными организациями и органами государственной власти ВАДА ведет активную борьбу против применения допинга. Уставом ВАДА предусмотрено равное представительство Олимпийского движения и органов государственной власти.
