Person who acts as a liaison between the TV director or producer and the TV people actually covering the event.Person in charge of organising the broadcast programme's production plan and the link between production team, editors and external officials.► The floor manager consults with the media officers of the event itself or of the teams. He communicates information about who is to be interviewed, he could also be the one responsible for gathering information during the match, among others about substitutions and injuries, or confirming yellow cards, and passing it on to the editorial room, but he has no direct contact with either team, nor with officials or referees, as he has to use the appropriate media officer as an intermediary.

alarm
item of diagnostic, prognostic, or guidance information, which is used to alert the operator and to draw his or her attention to a process or system deviation
NOTE Specific information provided by alarms includes the existence of an anomaly for which corrective action might be needed, the cause and potential consequences of the anomaly, the overall plant status, corrective action to the anomaly, and feedback of corrective actions.
Two types of deviation may be recognised:
– unplanned – undesirable process deviations and equipment faults;
– planned – deviations in process conditions or equipment status that are the expected response to but could be indicative of undesirable plant conditions.

alarme
– non prévue – Déviations du procédé indésirable et défaillance de matériels;

When the accumulated energy dropout setpoint and time delay are satisfied, the alarm is inactive.
[Schneider Electric]

environmental impact of fishing
Fishing may have various negative effects on the environment: effluent and waste from fish farms may damage wild fish, seals, and shellfish. Fish farmers use tiny quantities of highly toxic chemicals to kill lice: one overdose could be devastating. So-called by-catches, or the incidental taking of non-commercial species in drift nets, trawling operations and long line fishing is responsible for the death of large marine animals and one factor in the threatened extinction of some species. Some fishing techniques, like the drift nets, yield not only tons of fish but kill millions of birds, whales and seals and catch millions of fish not intended. Small net holes often capture juvenile fish who never have a chance to reproduce. Some forms of equipment destroy natural habitats, for example bottom trawling may destroy natural reefs. Other destructive techniques are illegal dynamite and cyanide fishing. (Source: WPR)

accidental release of organisms
Genetically engineered organisms that are released in the environment by mistake; once released they may exhibit some previously unknown pathogenicity, might take over from some naturally occurring bacteria (possibly having other positive functions which thus are lost) or pass on some unwanted trait to such indigenous bacteria. There is also concern that an uncontrolled genetic mutation could produce a form with hazardous consequences for the environment. (Source: WPRa)

20 défaut à la terre

earth fault
occurrence of an accidental conductive path between a live conductor and the Earth
NOTE – The conductive path can pass through a faulty insulation, through structures (e.g. poles, scaffoldings, cranes, ladders), or through vegetation (e.g. trees, bushes) and can have a significant impedance.
[IEV number 195-04-14]FR
[IEV number 195-04-14]Параллельные тексты EN-RU
The earth fault, caused by an insulation loss between a live conductor and an exposed conductive part, represents a plant engineering problem which may cause damage to the electrical installations and above all may jeopardize people; as a matter of fact, people could get in touch with an exposed-conductive-part not normally live but which, due to the fault, might have a dangerous potential to ground.
