    (עָגָה) אָגָא (Samar. אגה rendition of b. h. נקב; cmp. הָגָה) to spell (letters), blaspheme, swear. Snh.101b תנא (ו)בגבולין ובלשון אגא Ar. (ed. עגה), the Boraitha remarks (to ההוגה as in Mishn. a. l.) this (condemnation of one uttering the name of the Lord) refers to the country (not the Temple), and in the sense of Samaritan aga (swearing).
