6 Palm Pilot
Lancé en mars 1996 par la société Palm, le Palm Pilot est le PDA (personal digital assistant) le plus utilisé au monde, avec 23 millions de machines vendues entre 1996 et 2002. Il utilise le système d’exploitation Palm OS, développé par PalmSource, une division de Palm. En mars 2001, on peut utiliser le Palm Pilot pour lire des livres numériques sur les logiciels de lecture Palm Reader et Mobipocket Reader.
