Угол в горизонтальной плоскости между магнитным "севером" и компасным "севером" по показаниям магнитного компаса, установленного на борту судна. Принято "восточнее" или "плюс", если компасный "север" расположен правее или восточнее магнитного "севера", и "западнее" или "минус", если компасный север расположен левее или западнее магнитного "севера".
