פָּלַח(b. h.) to split; to dig, till; to cut out. Ex. R. s. 27 על מנת לפוֹלְחָהּ will you take this field with the condition that you will till it?; a. e. 2) to work for, serve, v. פּוֹלֵחַ. 3) to worship. Tosef.Ab. Zar.
