צִיל(v. צְלַל) to be clear. Part. צָיֵיל, צִיל, צָאֵיל. Sabb.66b כי היכי דציל הא מישחא לֵיצִילוכ׳ as this oil is clear, so may the wine ofbe clear (that our minds may not be affected by the wine); ib. כי היכי דצִילָא האי שיעתא ליצילוכ׳ Ms. M.
