חֲזַקch. 1) same.Part. pass. חֲזִיק tied up, bandaged. Y.Ber.II, 4c top דהוה ח׳ רישיה when his head was tied up (with a turban); Pesik. R. s. 22 (not רישין, v. notes in ed. Fr.). Y.Pes.X, 37c וח׳ רישיהוכ׳ and his head was tied up (or he felt like having a bandage around his head) ; Y.Shek.III, 47c top והוה חזוק (read חזיק); וחזק (corr. acc.). 2) to take possession. B.
