אָשַׁם(b. h.; שמם) 1) to be waste (cmp. Ezek. 6:6; Hos. 14:1). Snh.97a יֶאֱשַׁם (in parall. passages יִשּׁוֹם); v. גַּבְלָן. 2) to neglect, be guilty.Denom.:
