    אָפַךְ(b. h. הָפַךְ q. v.) to turn, change, reverse, overthrow. Kil. II, 3 say not I will plant ואח״כ אוֹפַךְ and then turn the soil over (destroy the previous seed) אלא אוֹפֵךְ Ar. (ed. הוֹפֵךְ) but one must first uproot (cmp. אוכל fr. אָכַל). Ter. IX, 1; Tosef.Kil.I, 16 יוֹפַךְ he shall Ib. end לייפך ed. Zuck. (Var. לוֹפַךְ) to uproot.
