1900-1975Es larga la biografia cinematografica de Jean Yar brough, que dio sus primeros pasos en la in dustria en la epoca del cine mudo, a las ordenes de Hal Roach. Aunque se dedico preferentemente a la comedia a lo largo de sus distintas etapas como realizador, tampoco desdeno otros generos, siempre dentro de pequenos presupuestos. Yarbrough dirige alrededor de cien peliculas entre 1936 y 1967, ademas de algunos episodios de series de television. Su contribucion al genero del western no es ni extensa ni destacada.
