Winter die ὀπώρα, der Herbst eingefügt, wo dann auf ἔαρ und ὀπώρα je zwei, auf ϑέρος und χειμών je vier Monate gerechnet werden, Eur. frg. inc. 143; später nimmt man sieben Jahreszeiten an : ἔαρ, ϑέρος, ὀπώρα, φϑινόπωρον, σπορητός, χειμών, φυταλιά; Plat. Legg. X, 906 d nennt die Jahreszeiten ὧραι ἐτῶν καὶ ἐνιαυτῶν; Arist. οἱ περὶ τὴν ὥραν χρόνοι; ὥρα μηνός Eur. Alc. 445; ἐκ τῶν ὡρῶν εἰς τὰς ὥρας Ar. Th. 950; ὡρῶν καὶ ἐνιαυτοῠ Plat.
