Aquí se rendía culto al ídolo del Sol, llamado P'unchaw, que era el dios principal, igualmente a las deidades de la Luna, el Rayo, Venus, Arco Iris, etc. A la llegada de los españoles todo fue desmantelado y en su lugar se edificó el templo y el convento de la orden dominicana. -
