1898-1967Productor y director, la mayor parte de su filmografia en este ultimo ambito esta formada por westerns de todo signo y condicion, siempre al servicio de una de las estrellas del momento, incluidos cuatro seriales. Entre 1932 y 1953 produce mas de cien peliculas. Dirige 23 entre 1931 y 1937, mas una postrera en 1946.
