Ap. 1, 292], whence the impf. act. ἔκρυβεν GJs 12:3 and the mid. ἐκρυβόμην GPt 7:26, is a new formation in H. Gk. fr. the aor. ἐκρύβην [B-D-F §73; Mlt-H. 214; 245; Reinhold 72. On the LXX s. Helbing 83f]) fut. κρύψω (LXX; GJs 14:1); 1 aor. ἔκρυψα. Pass.: 2 fut. κρυβήσομαι (PsSol 9:3; JosAs 6:3; ApcEsdr; Plut., Mor. 576d); 2 aor. ἐκρύβην (Hellenistic: Lob., Phryn. p. 317; LXX; JosAs 24:21; ApcMos 22 al.; Jos., Ant. 8, 384); pf. 3 sg. κέκρυπται, ptc. κεκρυμμένος.
