Esto es lo que se puede apreciar y de hecho a todas luces vierte el alumbramiento de tan Grande y Singular Suceso, que fue la sirvienta de toda la Cristiandad, y el primer atajo que hizo ver a las gentes la sobrenatural existencia del Hacedor. —Pero si el Hacedor dijo (siempre según las Escrituras que no fueron hechas por Dios), que hacía al Hombre a su Imagen y Semejanza, en esta frase queda bien claro, que una cosa no concuerda con la otra en nada. —Yo creo que la virginidad de las personas (no de las cosas) no se alumbra en la materia del cuerpo, que todo él es un hervidero de vida en continua transformación y movimiento, hasta que por accidente o por vejez se muere, y después de muerto todavía se vuelve a transformar en un hervidero de gusanos que no dejan de existir hasta que no se le come entero. —No, la virginidad de las personas mora dentro del misterioso rincón del alma, o del espíritu, y jamás permite que ninguna otra fuerza que actúe fuera de la normativa del más puro crisol de la justicia y el amor entrañable al prójimo, alumbre pensamientos que la desluzcan u ofendan en nada.
