Begriff, I) Bereitschaft, in der Verbdg.: im B. sein, -stehen,zu etc., res in eo est od. gew. bl. in eo est, ut etc. (es ist auf dem Punkte, daß ich etc.). – iam prope est, ut etc. (es ist schon nahe daran, daß etc., ebenfalls unpersönl.). – parare mit Infin. (eben sich anschicken, eben damit umgehen, z. B. Aegyptum proficisci). – Auch bl. durch das Partiz. Präs. od. Futur. Akt., z. B. im B., aus der Villa zu gehen, egrediens e villa: ich war im B. zu verreisen, iter facturus eram: als er eben im B. war abzumarschieren, [370] profecturus; ob. sub ipsa profectione. – II) = Inbegriff, w. s. – III) Vorstellung von einer Sache in der Seele: notio (die Borstellung, die man mit etw. verbindet). – intellegentia (das Vorhandensein des Begriffs, die Kenntnis einer Sache). – opinio (die daraus entstehende Vorstellung, z.
