Nota d'usoBisogna fare attenzione a non confondere i verbi to intend e to mean. To intend è usato principalmente con il significato di “avere intenzione di”, “volere”, e viene spesso seguito da un altro verbo: He intended to kiss her that night, aveva intenzione di baciarla quella sera. Anche to mean significa “avere intenzione di”: He meant to come, aveva intenzione di venire.
