ТиксотропияОбратимое изменение физико- механических свойств полимерных и дисперсных систем при механическом воздействии в изотермических условиях. Для жидких сред проявляется в понижении вязкости при течении и ее постепенном повышении после прекращения течения; для вязко- пластичных сред - в уменьшении предела прочности (предела текучести) при деформировании и восстановлении его исходного значения при отдыхе; для кристаллических полимеров и эластомеров - в изменении деформационных характеристик при последовательных циклах нагружение - отдых. Тиксотропия обусловлена обратимыми изменениями структуры материала, например разрушением надмолекулярной структуры полимеров или коагуляционных контактов в дисперсных системах. Тиксотропными свойствами обладают строительные растворы, лакокрасочные материалы, консистентные смазки, многие пищевые продукты. -
