Diod S 3, 44, 7 describes a harbor named Charmuthas as λιμὴν κάλλιστος. In general καλός is not infrequently found as an adj. applied to a serviceable harbor: Diod S 5, 10, 1 λιμέσι καλοῖς; 5, 13, 3. καλὸς λιμήν is a coastal place on the Black Sea in Arrian, Peripl. 19, 5.—Breusing 158f.
