(TS)Предел прочностиМеханическое напряжение, выше которого происходит разрушение материала. Поскольку при оценке прочности время нагружения образцов часто не превышает нескольких секунд от начала нагружения до момента разрушения, то его также называют условно-мгновенным пределом прочности, или хрупко- кратковременным пределом прочности. Значения предельных напряжений на растяжение и на сжатие обычно различаются.
